dropin uses no analytics, advertising or tracking. It only stores what's strictly needed to work, so there's no cookie banner to accept.
Optional preference storage saves only small settings on this device — never your event data or anything about your sign-in. Turning a category off erases what it saved on this device and stops new settings being saved, so the install button may reappear and closed notices may show again. Turn it back on (or use Restore defaults) and saving resumes.
Essential
Sign-in session and offline files. Needed for dropin to work.
Remembers that dropin is installed on this device and that you closed the install prompt, so it stays hidden. Turning this off clears it on this device.
Example: after you add dropin to your phone's home screen, this remembers it — so you don't see the "Add dropin" button on your next visit.
Remembers which event notice banners you closed, so they don't reappear. Turning this off clears it on this device.
Example: you read and close a pink banner about a revoked invite link — this remembers that, so it doesn't pop back up every time you open the event.
Your choices are saved on this device only.
Sign-in and offline files are essential; the preference items are small conveniences you can switch off above. EU rules don't require consent for strictly necessary storage. If we ever add analytics or other optional technologies, we'll ask first and let you change your choice at any time.
