dropin Back
On your phone

dropin,
one tap away.

Add dropin to your home screen. If you lose your connection, the app still opens and lets you know when to reconnect. Your events need internet access.

Not installed on this device yet

This status can be inaccurate: iPhone Safari may still show “Not installed” even when dropin is on your home screen, and each browser and device checks separately — installed in one place doesn’t mean installed everywhere.

Add to Home Screen

On your phone, open dropinteam.com in Safari or Chrome and use your browser’s Add to Home Screen option.

Step-by-step for your device

Still seeing the old icon?

Browsers and apps remember old icons for a while. Refresh them where you see the old one.

Safari (Mac & iPhone)

  • Tab: hold Shift and click the reload button, or press Cmd+Option+R (Mac). On iPhone, close the tab and reopen dropinteam.com.
  • Favorites: edit the bookmark and re-save it, or delete it and bookmark the page again.
  • Home screen: remove the old dropin icon, then in Safari tap Share → “Add to Home Screen” again.
  • Full reset: Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data.

Chrome (Mac, Windows & Android)

  • Tab: press Ctrl+Shift+R (Cmd+Shift+R on Mac) to reload without cache.
  • Bookmarks: delete the bookmark, visit dropinteam.com fresh, then re-add it.
  • Android home screen: remove the old dropin icon, then use Chrome’s menu → “Add to Home screen” again.
  • Full reset: Chrome menu → Settings → Privacy and security → Delete browsing data → “Cached images and files”.

Messaging & social apps

  • WhatsApp: send the link as a new message; previews refresh per message. Old messages keep the old image.
  • Slack: hover the link message → “…” → “Unfurl this link” (or delete and re-post the message).
  • LinkedIn: edit the post to re-fetch the preview, or share it again as a new post.
  • Teams & others: paste the link with ?v=2 at the end to force a fresh preview image.

Still stuck? Clearing your browser’s cached images and files clears the icon too — but it also signs you out of most websites, so use it as a last resort.
